All’interno del nuovo progetto del museo del design, è stata selezionata la ciotola CHIPS, parte di un recente progetto di oggetti tra arte e industria: ogni pezzo prodotto è infatti controllato dalle macchine ma finito a mano dalla stessa Ilaria Marelli, per un risultato di variazioni random sullo stesso tema.
The CHIPS bowl has been selected for the new set up of the Triennale design museum. This object is part of a wider new design project that implies a production in between art and industry. Every piece - in fact - is cut and cooked by industrial machines, but hand-finished by the designer, so to obtain random variations on the same shape.
