Un’ esposizione in cui 200 pezzi di design contemporaneo si confrontano con gli ambienti, di 4 case museo milanesi: Ilaria Marelli è presente al Museo Bagatti Valsecchi con la ciotola CHIPS,  selezionata dal curatore Beppe Finessi come interessante esempio di nuova “atigianalità industriale”: ogni pezzo prodotto è pre-lavorato dalle macchine ma finito a mano dalla designer per un risultato di variazioni random sulla stessa forma.
 
In “Unexpected Guests.” exhibition, 200 contemporary design pieces face the interiors, paintings and artworks of four Milanese museum-villas: for the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, the curator Beppe Finessi chose the CHIPS bowl as an interesting example of new “industrial craftsmanship”. Every piece is pre-processed by machines, and shaped by the designer herself. As a result, the same type of object comes in always different random versions.
